I jumped on Sears.com to check on a recent order and stumbled upon their Christmas clearance (uh-oh). And even though my Hubby may not be excited as he ponders where we are going to store all my goodies, I am super excited about my finds and I convinced him why he should be too. Last year our Christmas inflatable did not hold up through the harsh weather conditions. Mind you this was our first inflatable that I found on clearance for $25, 3 Christmas's prior. So it was no big loss but I did want a new one and failed to track one down last year during after Christmas clearance. So this November I reminded my Hubby about our lack of a beautiful Christmas centerpiece for the yard. He was very sweet and offered to pay for one at regualr price (ouch!). I looked for awhile and found one I loved with a price tag of ...$130!! I added it to my cart and pictured how cute it would be in the yard...then the thought ...$130 for something that could possibly not even make it a few weeks?? Even though I appreciated my Hubby's offer, I just could not find this an ok purchase. Knowing a month later I could find something at a way better price. To be exact now a savings of $119.00 (92%)!!! Even better I ♥ what I found, 6ft. Sock Monkey inflatable for $12 (reg.$60). Sock Monkeys bring back so many childhood memories, and I'm excited to see them coming back. I found ornaments at Kohl's this year and made my own mini sock monkey tree :). So needless to say I am super excited for Christmas next year and the fact my patience saved me $119! My goal this year is to SAVE,SAVE,SAVE and I am off to a good start.
