Walgreens & Rite Aid Deals 8/14-8/20

First off sorry for not posting, with such short notice on winning tickets for De'vaughn to attend the Lebron James camp in San Diego I was running around like crazy to prepare. It was all worth it though to see his face when he met his idol, what a great experience for him. All the stress was well worth it. He was so excited to be right next to him in team pictures :)

Now I need to snap out of my daydream of being back in sunny San Diego and move onto the deals for this week.

Let me start off by telling you that for some reason our region is differnt with Walgreens and Register Rewards. Have you looked at the ad online and seen products with Register Rewards, but then once you look at the ad in store you do not see the Register Reward? Well you are not crazy! For whatever reason in our area we get points added to our card instead of RR on some items. I don't really like this idea but hey I guess we have to work with what we got. I will give you an example in this weeks ad.

Points work like this:

10 points for every $1

So the Scope works like this:

You pay $6 which gives you 60 points

You will get 12x points

= 720 Points! ( I think)

You can redeem your points online and get a $5 Walgreens Coupon for every 2000 points! Or of course other prizes are available too.

You can have it mailed or print it out and use it just like a giftcard. I do like this better about the vouchers vs. the Register Rewards that you have to spend all at one time. Confused? Please contact me. I am new to all this too and still learning the system myself. I stopped shopping at Walgreens the beginning of this year because I didn't get why we did not recieve RR's. I am just getting back into it after finding out how it works in our area.
